Fit For Nigeria
- Virtual introductory course and coaching
- Intercultural preparation
- Introduction to NRW as a business location
- Honing of the participants' individual goals
- Identification of possible business partners
Exposure & Networking
- Individually planned stay
- Establishment of professional networks and alliances with start-ups on the ground
- Exchange and training programmes
- Excursions, on-site visits, temporary placements, road shows, exhibitions, hackathons, etc.
Follow-Up Phase
- Further development of the cooperation approaches
- Regular coaching sessions and workshops

- Joint final workshop after the follow-up phase
- Assessment of the individual programme modules
- Opportunities to continue and develop contacts and prospects for cooperation after participants return to Germany
The Innovation Made in NRW programme offers experts and managers from Ghana the opportunity to come to NRW on temporary placements in companies, familiarise themselves with the local business sector and build strong networks
NRW plays an especially important role in the energy transition and in climate protection. Digitalisation and support for innovation are at the foundation of a forward-looking partnership on economic policy
At present, African countries still only play a minor role as business partners for NRW, but the aim is to change this permanently
The Innovation Made in NRW programme offers experts and managers from Nigeria the opportunity to come to NRW on temporary placements in start-ups, familiarise themselves with the local business sector and build strong networks
The programme promotes business and networking between start-ups from Nigeria and the entrepreneurial and start-up scene in NRW
