Ghana is rich in natural resources and has huge potential for development. As an anchor of stability and democracy, it is an ideal partner to test out market opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Be among the first group to participate in a four-week exchange and networking program in Ghana. The project "Economic and Innovation Partnership NRW.Africa“ (WIN NRW.Afrika) offers the opportunity to meet companies in your sector, financial institutions, and business development services in Ghana. Workshops, roundtable discussions, and excursions will give insights into economic policy framework in Ghana. Gain access to new, dynamic markets, build or expand business relations and cooperations.

The working language is English.

Application deadline

The application deadline for our program in Ghana is May the 17th 2024. Your stay in Ghana will take place in September 2024.

Who are we addressing?

Experts, managers and decision-makers from SMEs as well as business development agencies and business associations based in NRW.

Application Materials

In addition to the interest in Africa and intercultural curiosity:

· Description of your KMU or business development service (max. 1000 characters)

· A meaningful letter of motivation

· A CV

· Fluency in English

· Based in NRW

· Demonstrably high degree of commitment and curiosity

What does Innovation Made in Ghana offer?

· A scholarship of 750€ during the 4-week on-site phase in Ghana

· An additional subsidy to the accommodation costs in Accra, the capital of Ghana (up to 750€)

· Coverage of travel costs to Ghana 

· Support in obtaining a visa

· Preparation and follow-up online in Germany
